Purpose:Assure maintenance of all minimum standards of Mobile Crisis Management
General Responsibilities of PRN Clinician:
Reports directly to the Mobile Crisis Management Clinical and Administrative Director
Receives supervision from Mobile Crisis Management Clinical or Administrative Director or Designee
Provides clinical oversight for field staff, following all proper policy, procedure, and protocol.
Assists field staff in making appropriate recommendation for care, disposition planning, advises on IVC process, assists with crisis planning, etc. Also advises on potential DSS reports.
Assists in determining appropriateness of calls as requested by dispatch
Provides clinical oversight in absence of Mobile Crisis Management Director
Must be credentialed through CAQH
Policy:
Be familiar with TA, Inc. policies and procedures including the securing of emergency services and the regulations concerning medication administration.
Be familiar with HIPAA regulations and abide by them.
Assure consumer’s rights are met and maintain consumer confidentiality at all times.
Help maintain the self-respect, personal dignity and physical safety of each recipient.
Obtain and keep current all training required by the agency. Understand that failure to renew classes by their due date will result in being removed from the schedule.
Perform other duties as required by circumstances.

To attend meetings and in-services as directed by my supervisor for the purpose of continuing education regarding consumer rights, choices, and outcomes.
To respect and maintain the confidentiality of all consumer information to which I am privileged during the carrying out of my general responsibilities.
To be polite and courteous to all consumers, guests, and staff of this corporation.
To learn/understand my role in the process and meaning of accreditation.
Verification of the following competencies:
Graduate of a college or university with a Master’s degree in Social Work and with two years of full-time, post-master’s degree accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served, as well as full or provisional licensure in the state of North Carolina. Licensure must be in good standing.
Must have a minimum of one (1) year’s experience in providing crisis management services in the following settings: assertive outreach, assertive community treatment, emergency department or other service providing 24/7 response in emergent or urgent situations.
Must have twenty (20) hours of training in appropriate crisis intervention strategies within the first 90 days of employment.
QP status and prior supervisory experience in the mental health field
No substantiated findings on the NC Personnel Registry/Health Care Program and must not be listed on the HHS/OIG List of Excluded Individual/Entities.
SBI and DMV records must meet the requirements of area mental health contracts.
You must have at least 8 full years driving experience, and be able to meet the liability carrier's requirements for coverage.
Must be able to Lift, Push, or Pull minimum of 25 pounds.
